Becoming the Archetype

We recently had the chance to share the stage with the mighty Becoming The Archetype, and after listening to this band years back we were pretty excited! We didnt really know what to expect for the show but we knew it would be a goodie...and so it was. BTA were super good live and sounded super tight.

On another note, our bro's in The Dead Will Tell also played with BTA, and this turned out to be Zoran's last show sadly. Z is by far one of the best front men iv seen in this country. If you had the opportunity to watch them live with Zoran you'll know what I mean. Now go get their album and check them out here.

Show and Tell joined BTA on their national tour. These guys are super dope. Their new sound has a kinda chariot vibe to it, and they super good. I love watching these guys everytime they make the trip up from Durban. Check them out here.

When FtG started out, we had no idea where we would end up. Within a few weeks of us getting together to jam, we wrote a whole set, and before we knew it we were playing shows. And the shows were getting bigger!
Three years down the line we're still winning, and having fun doing it! Although, Nem Stabic, who's been our drummer from the start, has decided to seek new boundaries. When the band formed he told us: "I'll just help out until you guys find a drummer." Little did we know we would never find a drummer and Nem ended up being our permanent drummer…

Losing a band member is shit for any band and he will be missed by all of us. We're eternally grateful for all the work and effort Nem put into FtG, and we had a blast rocking out with him. Not to mention the hours of partying, touring and seeing the whole country! Many a fond memories are spread all over SA, along with the odd puddle of vomit or spilt beer/ Teachers.


So to Nem: Thank for everything, you will be missed, but that doesn't mean we can't party together! The party will go on!
